Favorite Memory from when in Ukraine or elsewhere:

The Ivana Kupala festivities in Korsun were quite different from how I would expect to celebrate an ancient love/river holiday. After dancing my way through the outdoor disco area, I watched as 3 drunken young men attempted to leap over the bonfire only to fall in the burning coals. They would then bounce back up, run to the nearby river, soak their smoldering bodies, and run back to the crowd to have another go at it.
