I haven't decided where to call home yet - home is where my heart is and I have left pieces of my heart in soooo many wonderful places in the USA and Europe in the past 3 decades or so! We are currently living in and loving Santa Fe, NM! (I started life in a small town in NW Iowa - I was the Plymouth County Pork princess...not really...but it gives you an idea of what life is like there!).

I maintain friendships with many of my delightful friends in Kerch and continue to read blogs and news items on things Ukrainian!

Favorite Memory from when in Ukraine or elsewhere:

One of my favorite memories was on the 9th of May, laughing and dancing, sipping "Ukrainian water" with WWII veterans (I'm retired USAF!)atop the Mitrodat in beautiful Kerch on the Black Sea...What a history this community has and what peope they are...I was privileged to live among them. My life is richer for my experience in Kerch. And NOW I am having the joy of life in Santa Fe, NM... 8-)

How are you now (or how do you want to be) involved with this Friends of Ukraine group?

I think those of us who lived in Ukraine should continue to network and share and help to make life there better for our adopted Ukrainian friends and family. Friends of Ukraine offers us a chance to pool our resources and really get some things accomplished...life is better when shared!
