Ukrainian contacts in Yalta
Here are brief intros about our visiting Ukrainian friends, who may be here again in April 2011:
Tanya Bukharina, a professional tour guide in Yalta, will make hotel &
home-stay reservations in June 2011 to celebrate the 50th anniversary
of the Peace Corps as well as for reunions of various groups. She is a
Russian interpreter for English speaking visitors to Yalta. She works

Natalia Khibovska passed away
Some of you have heard that Natalia Khibovska passed away in August.

2. We support projects and organizations in Ukraine as appropriate.
3. We promote cultural and commercial exchanges between Ukraine and the US.
Each summer during an annual meeting of all members, projects (that have been submitted for funding and reviewed by board members during quarterly conference calls) are selected, depending on the amount of funding available. Project funding comes directly from membership dues - another reason to join! Click on subtabs under projects (above) to get descriptions of projects funded during past years.
